I was in the US Navy for 14 years... People I know that got Bad Conduct or Dishonorable Discharges! 1997; A CTO1 and MS1 both got a Trial by General Court Martial for possessing child pornography. The CTO1 plead guilty, got 6 months in the brig, Bad Conduct discharge. the MS1 got 5 months, Bad Conduct discharge (18 year Navy veteran!!) 2000: An AKAR.... General Court Martial; Assault with a Deadly weapon and Attempted murder... 5 1/2 years, Dishonorable discharge. He stabbed another sailor in the chest a couple of times. I was on leave when it happen. 2001: Several Marines involved in a drug ring, All got BCDs. 2004: A Seaman, she was convicted for theft of cash and equipment, then she escaped and when UA/AWOL. She was caught. Dishonorable Discharge!! Sentence SIX years behind bars. 2005: The Personnelmen; A PN2, PN3 and PNSN, All got caught committing BAH fraud.
